Hosted by the Oregon Department of Administrative Services, the 2010 Annual Meeting will be held July 25-28 in Portland. The meeting will help put states on the road to recovery by providing expert speakers on the stimulus, revenue forecasts, the economy and more. NASBO’s planned networking excursions will showcase the natural beauty of the Columbia River Gorge as well as Mount Hood.
Registration Information
Registration will be available in early spring 2010. Until then, please consider making your hotel arrangements now and begin any pre or post conference travel planning.
NASBO is pleased to offer complimentary registration and four complimentary nights at the Hilton hotel for one person, per state budget office. The first registrant per state should select "Complimentary State Registration" and upon checkout from the hotel, NASBO will be billed for four hotel nights. Registrants are financially responsible for their own hotel reservation until checkout, so please be aware of the hotel's cancellation policy.

NASBO has confirmed a special group rate of $129 in the main tower for single or double occupancy or $135 in the Executive Tower for single or double occupancy (plus 12.5% tax). All NASBO hotel guests will receive complimentary internet access in their guestroom
This special group rate is available three days before and after the meeting, subject to rate and space availability. In order to get this group rate, you must identify yourself with the “NASBO Annual Meeting." Reservation cancellation must be made 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation fee equal to one night’s room rental.
Hotel check-in time is 4:00 pm and checkout is noon. Self parking for hotel guests is $20 and valet parking is $27 per day.

National Awards
The Gloria Timmer Award is awarded to a regular member or recent alumnus for either a single significant achievement or a career of accomplishments which have had a significant, positive impact on the award recipient's state. The George A. Bell Award recognizes state budget personnel for outstanding contributions and service to public budgeting and management in state government. These awards are presented at the Annual Meeting.

Please review NASBO's cancellation/refund policy before registering:
Cancellation requests must be received in writing by 5:00 p.m. eastern time on the cancellation date deadline, which is two weeks prior to the meeting start date. Cancellations made on or before two weeks prior to the meeting start date will be refunded, minus a $50 administrative processing fee. No refunds will be made for cancellations made after the deadline, or for conference no-shows. If you cancel after the deadline and have not prepaid your registration fee, NASBO will bill you for your entire fee. Substitutions are accepted at anytime at no additional charge. Registrations made after the refund cancellation deadline are not eligible for a refund.The registration fee will be refunded approximately 30 days after the meeting – either by check or credit card, depending on the method of payment.
