The Fall Meeting provides budget officers and staff updates on federal issues affecting the states as well as a chance for idea-sharing and discussion prior to budget development. Sessions at this meeting typically include and economic update, review of federal legislative developments as well as other timely topics.

Please reserve your room(s) by calling (703) 549-6080. NASBO has confirmed a special group rate of $189 single or double occupancy which is well below per diem (plus $1 per night occupancy tax and 11.5% tax).
This special rate is available three days before and after the meeting, based on availability. In order to get the group rate, you must identify yourself with the “2009 NASBO Fall Meeting .”
Reservations must be cancelled by 6 p.m. eastern, the day before arrival in order to avoid a cancellation fee equal to one night’s room rate.
Check in time is 3 p.m. and checkout time is noon. The hotel offers complimentary airport shuttle service to Reagan National Airport, complimentary internet access, as well as a fitness center and pool.

Cancellation requests must be received in writing by 5:00 p.m. eastern time on the cancellation date deadline, which is two weeks prior to the meeting start date. Cancellations made on or before two weeks prior to the meeting start date will be refunded, minus a $50 administrative processing fee. No refunds will be made for cancellations made after the deadline, or for conference no-shows. If you cancel after the deadline and have not prepaid your registration fee, NASBO will bill you for your entire fee. Substitutions are accepted at anytime at no additional charge. Registrations made after the refund cancellation deadline are not eligible for a refund.The registration fee will be refunded approximately 30 days after the meeting – either by check or credit card, depending on the method of payment.
